它制造者的名字——历史是不会弄错的，
因它被写进了天堂——双倍地，莱特①。

Ⅳ. 邪恶势力抵消
枯萎病会让那棵栗树死去吗？
农夫们宁可猜测它不会。
它不断地在根部郁积，
向上发出新芽，
到最后另一种寄生植物
会将这枯萎终结。

让混乱成风暴！
让风浪群涌而至！
我等着瞧！

Ⅵ. 戒备的黄蜂
在光滑的电线上艺术地弯曲.
充分地伸展他的肢体，
灵巧的翅膀自信地竖起
刺人的部位威胁地示意。
可怜的自我主义者，他无从知晓
但他也是向善的，跟任何人一样。
Ⅶ. 一个猜测
花粉在他的眼睛，扇子作他的翅膀，
腰间的双腿能够用来唱歌，
口中染了颜色但不是叮咬。
Ⅷ. 算账之难
永远不要让花钱的人
去思索钱用在什么地方。
没人曾打算
去记住或编造
他每一分钱的用途。
Ⅸ. 心不在焉
我转向上帝求助
关于这世界的绝望；
但却使问题变得更糟
我发现上帝心不在焉。
上帝转而对我讲话
（任何人都别笑）；
上帝发现我心不在焉——
起码不超过一半。
Ⅹ. 在帝维斯酒馆①
夜已深了，我仍在输钱，
但仍然镇定，谁也不责怪。
只要宣言在那儿
保证我在牌数上权利平等，
是谁的酒馆对我都没什么。

Ⅲ. THE WRIGHTS’ BIPLANE?
This biplane is the shape of human flight.
Its name might better be First Motor Kite.
Its makers’ name – Time cannot get that wrong,
For it was writ in heaven doubly Wright.
Ⅳ. EVIL TENDENCIES CANCEL?
Will the blight end the chestnut?
The farmers rather guess not.
It keeps smoldering at the roots
And sending up new shoots
Till another parasite
Shall come to end the blight.
Ⅴ.PERTINAX?
Let chaos storm!
Let cloud shapes swarm!
I wait for form.
Ⅵ. WASPISH?
On glossy wires artistically bent
He draws himself up to his full extent.
His natty wings with self-assurance perk.
His stinging quarters menacingly work.
Poor egotist, he has no way of knowing
But he’s good as anybody going.
Ⅶ. ONE GUESS?
He has dust in his eyes and a fan for a wing,
A leg akimbo with which he can sing,
And a mouthful of dyestuff instead of a sting.
Ⅷ. THE HARDSHIS OF ACCOUNT
Never ask of money spent
Where the spender thinks it went.
Nobody was ever meant
To remember or invent
What he did with every cent.
Ⅸ. NOT ALL THERE?
I turned to speak to God
About the world’s despair;
But to make bad matters worse
I found God wasn’t there.
God turned to speak to me
(Don’t anybody laugh);
God found I wasn’t there –
At least not over half.
Ⅹ. In Divés Dive
It is late at night and still am losing,
But still I am steady and unaccusing.
As long as the Declaration guards
My right to be equal in number of cards,
It is nothing to me who runs the dive.
