作者简介：墓草，1974年生，作品有：诗集《人妖时代》，《墓草诗选》，《你没有感受到的绝望》，长篇小说《弃儿》，《弃儿湖》，短篇小说集《 一个老头子说》等。有部分诗歌作品被译成英文，法文，日文，斯洛文尼亚文发表出版。
Mu Cao wasborn in 1974. His works include the poetry collections Transsexual Age, SelectedPoems of Mu Cao, and A Despair You Haven’t Felt; the novels Outcastand Outcast Lake; and the short story collection An Old Man Says.His works have been translated and published in English, French, Japanese, andSlovenian.

翻译简介：梦之恩是一名专注于中国大陆当代虚构类文学的中文翻译家。他曾于北京师范大学学习汉语普通话，于罕布什尔学院获得哲学学士学位，于纽约大学获得比较文学硕士学位，于蒙特雷国际研究学院获得中文翻译硕士学位，并于芝加哥大学获得东亚语言与文明学硕士学位。2011年康奈尔大学出版社出版的《沃尔玛在中国》曾发表他的一篇中国店员日记的英文翻译文章。2014年《顿悟》杂志曾发表由他翻译的诗人墓草的诗作英文版。他目前正在做墓草于2003年发表的小说《弃儿》的英文翻译工作。他翻译的北京同志的作品《北京故事》将于2016年3月由驻美的女性主义出版社出版。来自加州的他，现在身为在科罗拉多州丹佛市的一所高中的汉语普通话老师。

Scott E. Myers is atranslator of Chinese literature. He studied Mandarin Chinese at Beijing NormalUniversity and holds a bachelor’sdegree in philosophy from Hampshire College and master’s degrees in ComparativeLiterature from New York University, in Chinese Translation from the MontereyInstitute of International Studies, and in East Asian Languages andCivilizations from the University of Chicago. Histranslation of the diary of a retail worker in China appears in thebook Walmart in China. His translations of contemporary poet MuCao’s poems have appeared in Epiphany journal and he iscurrently translating Mu’s novel Outcast. His translation of BeijingComrades by Bei Tong is forthcoming from The Feminist Press.Originally from California, he is a Mandarinteacher at a high school in Denver, Colorado.

我的花园里没有一个人
静静的角落
橡皮擦过的空白处
只生长着一棵菠菜
我的麦克风就是水笼头
我必需每天使用流水一样的语言
比铅笔还细的词汇
季节继续……

更大更空的角落
没有一片落叶

An empty place rubbedout by an eraser
Where only a head ofspinach grows
My microphone is awater faucet
Each day I must uselanguage that is like flowing water
A vocabulary finerthan a pencil
The seasons change…
My garden rises
A bigger and emptiercorner
Not one falling leaf
Not one butterfly
Only a head of spinachgrows
My microphone cannotleave my mouth
My mouth belongs tothe spinach
The spinach belongs tothe pencil
The pencil is tryingto raise the garden

There is no one in mygarden
The sole coin
Rubbed clean by aneraser
In a quiet, emptyplace
Where only a head ofspinach grows

梦中的颜色
无数个夜晚
和我无关的灯光
一条小路
通向空房间
关上门确定关好了门
关上窗确定拉好了窗帘
我的床在哪里
空房间套着空房间
墙壁自己在生长
生出另一扇门
另一个房间
灯光里……
我看见我的妻子睡在床上
我又看见我的丈夫睡在女人身边
和我无关的夫妻在怀孕
他们正在努力生出一块墓碑
墓碑上刻着我的名字
和死亡日期

Close the window, makesure the curtain is drawn
Where is my bed?
Empty rooms in emptyrooms
The wall is growing
Gives birth to anotherdoor
Another room
In the lamplight…
I see my wife sleepingon the bed
And my husbandsleeping beside a woman
A husband and wife whohave nothing to do with me are trying to get pregnant
They are trying togive birth to a tombstone
On which is written myname
And date of death
